A conference ‘Energy Poverty in South East Europe’ will be held in the European Parliament on 1st of June 2016.
It is estimated that in South East European countries more than 30 % of households struggle with energy poverty. Regional differences play a significant role in its prevalence and characteristics. The conference will bring these specific features of South East Europe into focus of the EU-wide debate on energy poverty. We would like this debate to be inclusive to all key stakeholders, gathering members of the EU Parliament, scientists and experts dealing with energy poverty issues, as well as representatives of civil society.
Participation in the conference is free. Please register here to participate in the conference.
