On February 15th, DOOR employees trained their new volunteers for visits to energy poor households.

After a short introduction concerning the project REACH itself and the issue of energy poverty, volunteers were given a presentation on statistics about energy poverty in Croatia and SEE and they could hear more about the results of previous visits to households in the Sisak-Moslavina County.

During the practical part of the training the volunteers were introduced to the materials they will be delivering to energy poor households such as energy-saving lightbulbs, reflective foils for radiators, window gaskets, aerators etc. and they practiced setting them up together with the presenters.

Finally, they were able to go through the survey they will be conducting,to have their questions answered by the experts and to take home some additional materials about the project in order to get to know it better before the visits start.
